Investigations are being carried out into the circumstances surrounding the death of 33 year old Glenroy Lockhart of Bath Estate.
According to a release from Police PRO, Inspector John Carbon, Lockhart was involved in an altercation with his 49 year old brother-in-law, Reginald Mann, of Bath Estate about 8:30 pm on December 26, 2013.
During the altercation, Lockhart sustained a deep laceration to his neck allegedly with a knife. He was transported to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Princess Margaret Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Reginald Mann sustained lacerations to his head and was admitted to the Alford Ward of PMH.
Carbon said that a coroner’s inquest has convened and a post mortem will follow with regard to Lockhart’s death.
Police say investigations are continuing.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Leblanc, a police officer attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, was on December 24, 2013, stabbed multiple times to his stomach, head and chest.
Inspector Carbon reports that about 11:30 pm on Church Street, Roseau, the officer was attempting to quell a breach of the peace where two groups of young men were throwing stones and bottles at each other when he was attacked. He was transported to the Princess Margaret Hospital Accident and Emergency Department where he was treated and admitted to the Alford Ward. Officer Leblanc is said to be in stable condition.
Three men are in custody and are being questioned about this incident. Members of the public are asked to provide any information which they may have about the matter to CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-8477 or Police HINT LINE at 1-800-4468.

just a little point we need to put right.when a man marries a woman they become a family.brothers and sisters become relatives.if the husband and wife have a misunderstanding they should be given time to sort it out.if you want to control brother and sister keep them under your care and protection.too many times we take the law into our own hands.

I just can not stop thinking about you, back in the days we rode tubes down the river, play hoop in the guava field, climb mango trees, go on wild adventures and get chase by dogs. Glenroy was such a cool young man who hardly spoke to people. On the other hand that pig Reginald needed to go back to jail where he belongs. I feel so sorry for the immediate family of Glenroy. I have ignored the statements on several occasions but in this case a man lost his life most likely by trying to defend his sister’s honour and the prime minister comes into play??? How??? There is so much someone can do for a country, he cannot provide jobs for all, he cannot help all, we need to make strides for ourselves and stop sitting down and saying PM supposed to provide.
