BUSINESS BYTE: Digicel Dominica introduces low rate on calls to Haiti

digicel low rateAs part of its promise to deliver the best value in Dominica, Digicel today announced that it has reduced its calling rate from Dominica to Haiti to an all-time low of $0.85 for calls made to family and friends in Haiti at any time of the day or night and to any network.

This best value offer is being launched as the Haitian community in Dominica get set to celebrate Haitian Flag Day on May 18th 2015 and takes effect today, May 1st. All Digicel customers calling Haiti will enjoy this new rate change from $1.30 to $0.85 vat exclusive and charged per minute.

“Digicel is committed to supporting its Haitian family here in Dominica, having supported Haitian Flag Day numerous times over the years. This year however, we’re going one step further by reducing calls to $0.85, allowing us the opportunity to say thank you to our loyal Haitian customers,” said Sales & Marketing Manager, Nathalie Walsh.

In addition, Digicel is the proud sponsor of activities to commemorate Haitian Flag Day and will play its part to ensure that the observance is enjoyed by all. “Bonn Fet Drapo, Haiti,” continued Ms. Walsh.

    This phone companies here doesn’t make people life’s better in Dominica all they do is repeated off customers you mean these cosumers used to pay $1.85 per min to call a caribbean country, though it dropped sufficantly to $0.85 it’s still high, I see why our young ladies behaved this manner for top up
