Firearm stolen in Portsmouth, $1,000 reward offered

stop crimeCrimestoppers Dominica is offering a reward leading to an arrest and recovery of a stolen firearm.

The organization said $1,000 is being offered.

The firearm was stolen on July 10 during a break-in at a house in Picard, Portsmouth.

Anyone with information on this or any crime should dial 1-800-8477 [TIPS] and give information safely and securely.

The call is free.

    how are people suppose to know what that firearm looks like before they report it? and crime stoppers is anonymous with canadian call agents so how will the reward be paid to the person who gives the tip ?

    Please give a detailed description of the fire arm. So everyone will be on the look out in case the try to sell it or commit a crime. Lovely Dominica what is up with all these crimes and guns? Lord let our people call on u before it is too late. The doors of mercy will not be open too long.

    People of Dominica, and those in authority, it is not a joke what is going on. Did you read what Irish said our is saying about these criminals? take heed. When those in the police force who have been there for years are steeping down for one reason or the other, look out!!!!!

    Firearms and ammunition are to be safely secured under lock and key. Was it out in the open that it could easily have been stolen?
    You thieves should cease breaking and entering people’s homes. You have no right to do so. If caught and I hope you are, you should be severely punished for trespassing, breaking and entering and stealing. This also means you damaged the property in order to gain unlawful entrance. Note how many infractions you committed in addition to causing fear and anxiety on the owners who will also have to repair their property at a cost. You have committed a serious crime which should not be taken lightly by the Court.
