Labouroflove you make no sense what so ever, if the young man had his gun licences for the gun they would not go to his house, is people like you that encourage nonsense in this Country that’s why it’s turning to a life of crime stop putting it on the Government it’s people like you “shame”.

Only the Police are allowed to have guns when it comes to protecting the interests of a dictatorial Government. Dominicans be scared, be very scared! Gun ownership in Dominica is limited to those whom the Government approve. We just can’t afford an armed confrontation on Island, Citizens must quietly and peacefully disagree with inappropriate and flawed Government policies and practices but should be deathly afraid of taking action. This is exactly how we want it, isn’t it?

Dominican citizens were not allowed to have guns in the past. In those days we had virtually no crime. Now the government has allowed licensed firearms people are getting robbed and shot almost every week. The country is plagued with crime. If you cannot see the correlation then you are part of the problem. For what reason does someone need a gun? do people hunt with guns in DA? NO, Are they security and police officers? NO. The only reason you need a gun is either to protect your home and property which is why Dominica has a police force and not an army. FYI the unarmed police force defeated the heavily armed military defense forces during the Patrick John coup.
