Dice crowned Showdown Mas Camp ‘Champ of the Camp’

Seven-time Calypso King, Dennison “Dice” Joseph has been crowned the 2016 Showdown Mas Camp ‘Champ of the Camp’.

Calypso finalists Micheal “Boople” Lafleur secured the second spot , while Bobb placed third.

Abel “Checko” Jno Baptiste who didn’t make it to final competition placed fourth.

The competition was held at the Harlem Plaza on Thursday night.

    Dice needs better management that can organize the necessary apparatus to lift him to the heights that he can and should be at. He is an entertainer naturally and can and should be able to craft his ability to perform on any stage. This type of talent requires a team of experts musically, promotional and business wise.

    Every year we have a calypso king in Dominica but their songs wont hit the market internationally,like Trinidad and Tobago also other islands.
