Members of the disabled community have been asked lead the way for change in the country.
Dr. Francis Severin, who was the featured speaker at the 27th Annual General Meeting of the Dominica Association of Persons Living with Disabilities, said change come from average people.
He said the elites of society have never led reform and change but they sit by and when change takes place they are absent.
“Change comes from people in the streets. It is those in the kitchen who feels the heat. You have to be change agents. You have to prove yourself capable because no one else can do it for you,” he said.
