For the first time in history the results of the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) Examination will be released earlier than usual.
Local CXC Registrar Catherine Daniel says the grades will be released on August 17.
“In the past we use to have CXC results released in the first week in September. Then last year we had it released on August 20th and this year the 17th, so CXC is making a concerted effort to have the results earlier and earlier so that students going to college can have their results on time for the start of the new academic year,” she said.
She said CXC is also looking to have marking done on island.
@Nice: I am glad for the news of early results. My son is also very nervous awaiting the results.
Marking done on island – Lord have mercy
Now college will not use CXC as their scape goat for a disorganised start!
Ahhhh cxc I remembered the countless nights and days studying. It was a real nice feeling seeing my hard work on paper… 5 ones 1 two.. My grades were even transferable to the college I graduated from in the states. Good luck guys… Hard work pays!!!
It is really great to see how these ppl work had in accomplishing the grades of the people,,,,bt is college really doing their jop..they mainly focus on getting money…..and we the Students are treated badly……….peoeple who await dr CXC grades did right in waiting for their grades because they are force doing subject they did not want to do.
