International College Recruitment Fair kicks off today

The International College Recruitment Fair, an annual event organized by the Ministry of Education, Library and Information Service, will be held at the St. Gerald’s Hall on November 11 and 12, 2010 from 9 am to 5 pm. under the theme “Taking Education to the Next Level.”

The College Fair is a gathering of admission representatives from various colleges/universities in one location at one time to disseminate information to attendees pertinent to the admissions process, financial aid and the college environment with the aim of recruiting new students. Attendees are afforded the opportunity to interact directly with admission representatives.

It is true that not everyone will find their program of interest, but all persons desirous of obtaining a degree, a certificate/diploma, and short refresher courses or to keep up-to-date in their field are encouraged to attend.

Our only gold sponsor this year is the AID Bank. We are grateful for their continued contribution towards developing the education of our people. We hope that they continue in that endeavor. Representatives from the Bank will be present to answer any queries in reference to student loans and policies with regards to funding.

We invite parents, students and prospective candidates to join us for the Seventh International College Recruitment Fair. We present you with an opportunity to witness what is available and also understand the process to start or continue your educational journey.
