ChantMan—vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, and music entrepreneur, continues to pursue his venture as a recording artist with the recent release of his latest song “Standing Firm.” The fervent, chant-like lyrics, recorded to Head Concussion Records’ composition “Love Salute Riddim,” has truly left a great taste in listeners’ ears.
The music video was shot in St. John’s, Antigua and created by Akeem Lowe, of Dominica, and Ed Francis. When ChantMan decided he wanted to create a visual representation of “Standing Firm,” he knew exactly who could help turn his vision for the music video into reality. He embraced the idea of a lyric video in order to allow viewers to fully absorb the positive and motivational message in the lyrics of “Standing Firm.”
When asked about the birth and progression of the “Standing Firm” music video, ChantMan said, “The hook made me feel so powerful. After I got the hook I was like yeah, I need to share this message with the world.”
And with the world, it surely will be shared. With soon to be debuts on Antigua’s local television broadcast stations, where ChantMan is currently located, coupled with the official launch via YouTube, this artist is definitely on the proper track to worldwide recognition.
