The countdown is on for the staging of the 1st ever Miss Dominica Talented Teen Pageant.
The show which will be staged at the Arawak House of Culture on this Saturday from 7:00 pm is being organized by the Performing Arts Workshop.
The show is bringing together seven young ladies from around Dominica all vying for the title of Miss Dominica Talented Teen.
The winner will be Dominica’s representative at the 34th Annual Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen pageant to be held in St. Kitts in December.
The show promises to be full of life and entertainment with special guest performers from QTS participants, Mel C, students of the Performing Arts Workshop, Sankofa Dance company and Colton T.
The interview segment of the show was first carried live on Marpin TV and Artistic Director of the Performing Arts Workshop guarantees an excellent performance by the young ladies on Saturday. The show costs $20.00.
The event has attracted interest from the public and private sector with sponsorship from LIME, DBS Radio, Marpin 2K4, Big Edge Financial Express, Precious Parlour, Instyle Boutique, Print Xpress, Sign Man, Genesis unisex Salon, E.H Emmanuel Photography, Prima Donna, Bijoux Terner and Kubuli.
It is ashamed of the judges,this show wasn’t judge properly however this portsmouth girl didn’t deserve to win much less to place, best talent no way she didn’t sing properly and best talent should go to the christmas girl and also best interview on marpin she was the only one who was talking like she had some intelligence the others no way they are not fit to represent dominica they canot speak properly niether walk wawwwwwww please don’t waist you all time and money because she will not win in st kitts bad representative for dominica I must say very disappointed in this judges lollllllllllll, I wish marpin plays this show so people will see…..
Poor representation of Dominican talented youth. Most of the girls were not ready based on what i saw on the marpin programme
That show must have gotten very poor attendance, because most Dominicans were at the stadium doing something more positive: promoting cricket and encouraging our young men into doing something more positive than pageants.

Every time you turn is a pageant, pageant and pageant why can’t you all kind something more educational for these girls to do.

forever crying down they doh have money or country tight or no jobs in the country and every time u turn ur head they always finding money to have a pargeant for this and pargeant for that give me a break use the money to actually futher the youth of the country instead of using to to continuially exploit our young ladies
