The Dominica(Music Lovers) Government Band entertained hundreds including their Excellencies, Dr. Nicholas Liverpool and Mrs. Liverpool at its Christmas Musicale 2009 on the Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard on Tuesday evening.
Songs performed included “O Come Emmanuel”, “A Classical Christmas”, “I’ll be home for Christmas”, “Hark The Herald”, “Trumpets Swing”, “Cantique Noel” – Vocal solo by Ophelia Marie, “Drummer Boy”, “Feliz Navidad”, “Santa Clause is coming to Town”, “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas” – Vocal Solo – Ivor Rolle among other selections.
Also in attendance at the event was Venezuela’s Ambassador to Dominica, H.E Carmen Martinez de Grijalva.
