Winner of the Miss Dominica crown, Leslass Armour-Shillingford is expected to represent Dominica in the 8th Miss Caribbean World Pageant scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
She will be competing against 11 other beauties from across the Caribbean.
This will be Armour-Shillingford’s first regional pageant since winning the Miss Dominica Crown during the Carnival season.
During the show she captured awards in best talent, best performing talent, best swim wear and best in swim wear.
In 2012 Nadira Lando won the Miss Caribbean World crown for Dominica.
Loook out for ms st lucia. She is really amazing. I wont be surprised if she wins. All the girls are beautiful but on the night I guarantee you she will stand out.
Too much confidence, too many praises, and all that excitement makes the good in one turn soar. Encouragement is all we should give.

MS. BVI is very brilliant and creative… I would should say watch out for her; she’s the competition; real competition. She is very talented so come good. I live there and I’ve seen her in action so step up the game when it comes to talent. She gives a very good interview also.
I do not want to bring any body down, but Ms. BVI appears heavy to me. The swimwear round may affect her. Her face looks chubby….. Infer the rest.

…Indeed, Leslassa has a legacy to keep up to. Nakita, Leandra, Marah, Marcia, Nadira all did well for us…can’t quite remember how many of the ladies copped the Ms Caribbean World title. Good luck Leslassa, prove to me that u got game behind that smile.

Nope, we should support her, encourage her, stand behind her (rather stand with her), let her know that we care so that she could go into the competition feeling and knowing that we are with her and we have her back. If she doesn’t win, we should still embraced because she is our queen and she is a great queen. She is determined, willing, worthy and confident. It is not always about winning or loosing (although winning feel great), it is how you play the game, and this queen is fighter. For my part, I am bursting with confidence. She is going to do well and make us proud. Go for it girl! Peace
