Authorities in Dominica are expressing concern over a game, the Charlie Charlie Challenge, which is taking the internet by storm and is warning Dominicans, especially young people, to stay away from it.
In a live interview on state-owned DBS Radio on Friday, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Helen Royer, said the ministry is concerned “especially with the medical conditions which are allegedly associated with this activity.”
“The Ministry of Health is appealing to Dominicans, especially students, not to entertain that game which we know is being described as being evil and demonic” she said. “It is of so much concern to us that we have actually been collaborating with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and trying to take a proactive step to ensuring that we alert our young population on the issue in an effort to avoid its introduction here in Dominica.”
She said the Ministry is not aware of any reported cases of medical conditions associated with the game.
“However, since it is happening in our neighbouring countries, based on what we are hearing, as a Ministry of Health in collaboration with other stakeholders, we are putting a combined strategy to ensure that we educate the public, inform them, and our health promotion department will be working closely with the other divisions to ensure we contiue the education of persons, especially students…” Royer said.
She stated that the Ministry of Education has already sent out messages to schools on the matter.
“We are strongly advocating that students or any other persons who may be interested to stay away to ensure that it does not happen on our shores,” she said.
The Daily Mirror newspaper, describes the Charlie Charlie Challenge, as an ouija board-inspired game.
“The ‘ancient Mexican tradition’ involves placing two pencils on a piece of paper in the shape of a cross, before writing the words yes and no inside the four squares formed by the pencils. Participants must then repeat the words, ‘Charlie, Charlie are you here’ to summon a visit from a demon – Charlie. If the points to yes, Charlie is in the house and you can draw upon his demonic life experience and ask him for guidance in the form of yes/no questions,” the newspaper said.

Those who are saying it is foolish to believe that demons exist, be careful that you are not the ones who is foolish.

Hence Satan, the devil, is the father of demons in this world; this means that he has his own children here; they are in human form–not the form of serpents; for Satan is spirit, and a spirit needs a body to do it works–today the human form is the best medium
Just as God connects to us, through conscience, by Holy Spirit, it is the same way that Satan takes over our minds–if our conscience is still dead, meaning God is not there–he indwells our mind to do his works of evil and wickedness right into eternal death.
Just as the Mind of God is the Mind of Love, for Life in all its perfection, it is the same way that the mind of Satan, the devil, is of demonic stature, to do his wicked works of futility and death.
So don’t just say “I don’t believe” but examine your thoughts. Do you know by what path they entered you mind? I rest my case!

I have seen this concern all over on the Internet–the first warning which I saw was from a Priest from somewhere–the last time I saw it again, was on Thursday night–May 28.
This time it was a complaint from one of our Islands–not mentioning name– the child went home with such distress that her mother needed to make the complaint to the authority–apparently this took place at the child’s school.
America considered Demonic yet no one else found them to be embarrassment to the modern world so why is Dominica an embarrassment?

My oh my!!! Some adults are so gullible its not funny. This is a game aimed at scaring youngsters. They claim its a mexican demon named Charlie. Please do some more research. Mexicans remembered playing similar games but with but IT was not called Charlie Charlie, Try conducting your own experiment without calling on Charlie. Try different things. Opened window, Closed window, speaking close to the pencils etc ,,,,its has to do with a slight breath, breeze, friction, the way the pencil is balanced, a slight vibration will obviously allow movement of the pencil its not charlie responding back to you. How bout instead of asking charlie charlie can we play, how bout asking him where he’s from and put the name of different villages? Games like these have been around for yearsssss. As an ordained minister I believe in both sides of the supernatural (good and evil). I want to caution you. The Charlie Charlie ”game” is a spin off of the Ouija board and should be avoided.
The Vatican has already issued warnings against ”Charlie, Charlie” from several of their top exorcists. One warning comes from Jose Antonio Fortea who holds a Ph.D. (yes, a real Ph.D.) in exorcism!
This activity does call up demons, especially one who answers to the name of Charlie. But this activity can cause sickness, depression, and suicidal thoughts. It can lead to demon possession.

Mr. Hill, exorcism in according to the word simply means a spell or formula used in exorcising. I doubt because one has a Ph. D., earned in that sort of thing can cast out demons without the involvement of the name of Jesus.
I do not know of any university which has a curriculum design to teach the craft of exorcism; nor do I know if the universities and colleges, which teaches theology, teaches exorcism. What I do know is, there is a part of scripture which said: and this is not “verbatim” in my name you shall cast out demons; I believe that apply’s to true believers remember his disciples did that.
As a preacher, you may recall when two of his disciples fail to cast out a certain evil sprit, and they ask Jesus why could they not cast out that particular demon, Jesus told them that one is removed by payer and fasting. I doubt spells and magic can do it. Remember legend the swine’s, and the man in the tomb?

The work of Exorcism is a gift from God, the Lord, by the authority of Holy Spirit, it is like the gift of healing The Ph.D is from Him alone, posted on the mind of the person, God will use to do that work–that “document” cannot come from a physical faculty of the teachings of man.
The problem with man is that he refuses to give God the Glory–and yet there is nothing we can do without Him–that is the reason we rise and fall so often. Rev. Hill I hope you can understand me.
Also a person who does the work of exorcism must be a person of the Great Power Love, God uses that Power through the person whom He does that work. “Love” because the devil who has possessed that person, being exorcised, is all about hate and death–he can have no victory against God, who is Love, Himself.
The work exorcism is from God, who uses a sanctified mind–the mind of the person through whom He does that work. That was the reason Jesus said to His disciples–the healing of the boy needed much fasting and praying–that effect would cause the mind to be pure enough for the healing effect.
There were Jewish Exorcists in the days of Paul, who tried to exorcise a man who was demon possessed, as they declared their command in the name of Jesus whom Paul preaches. The evil spirits in the man said to them:
“Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Acts 19: 15-16 –Hehehehehehehehe!
That should be enough to tell us that our work is in vain, if God did not guide us into doing that work.

Please note the fact that the warnings are coming from both the top leaders in the health care and medical field AND in the religious field, as well as dignitaries in the governments of several nations.
This is such a serious matter people should be careful who they listen to. My knowledge of the Bible and decades of experience in the deliverance ministry in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean satisfies me. But our Catholic friends would do well to listen to Father Antonia Fortea who has issued a warning for Catholics on behalf of the Vatican. He is their top exorcist world wide with a Ph.D. in Exorcism. I have heard him speak on a D.V.D.

You are right on–this is my kind of language: “When we let God in our lives He will come in; but if we allow demons into our lives, they will try to destroy us; so that we die in sin and evil”–and yes indeed we have “free will” to choose; our choice is of Life or of death–this is from the beginning.
We learn from the incident at the Garden of Eden–man chose death–and so his offspring (we) continue in that death condition, Satan is still having his way–unless we choose to turn back to God for Life.
Unfortunately, there is a massive number of us human beings, whoever we are, who do not understand this, how can we teach or protect our children? Not only that, but we have to be careful about the manner we go into teaching them–for sometimes we can make matters worse. That is the reason we need to walk on the path of God’s protection every minute of the day, day in and day out.

Even though you pray, you must heed what is stated. Some do not know how to pray and well with a godly heart. For instance, you cannot hate anyone, pray and continue sinning and expect your prayers will be effective.

There are many people in the Caribbean who ”pray” and even attend church, but they also dabble in some form of witchcraft, voodoo or obeah.
Some do not seem know that the Catholic faith is not compatible with witchcraft. Only those who have received Christ as their own personal Savior (John 1:11,12) by believing what He did for them on the cross (Romans 5:6-9) will take them to heaven, are protected by the blood of Christ against any form of demonic oppression. Even then they can be attacked by Satan if they knowingly play with occult things.
This salvation does not come by doing good works or religious rituals. On the cross Jesus said, ”It is finished!” (John 19:30) We are saved by believing. ”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

how many of these men in their childhood had contact with the dark side. We do know at some point a demon gained control often through an older family member who was involved in the occult. Sometimes because their mind had been opened by the use of alcohol or drugs.

They are coming from high officials in the governments, the medical and health care fields in various nations, and from the highest levels of the Roman Catholic Church.
If ever you needed evangelists with a time proven deliverance ministry on your island it is now. It is time for pastors who are genuine shepherds of God’s people to tell their congregations the Biblical truth about Charlie because this may be only the beginning.
What is happening will take place beyond our wildest imagination after the rapture when the people of God are gone. Please read 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Matthew 24:21, and Revelation 12:12. Even now coming events are castings their shadows.
