Two fishermen, who were reported missing since Sunday, have been found, information reaching DNO has revealed.
On Wednesday morning, the police issued an official statement on the missing fishermen, Vernon Benjamin, 34, and his brother, Dever Benjamin, 24.
However, DNO has been reliably informed by sources and relatives late Wednesday morning that the men were found late Tuesday and are presently patients at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
Their conditions are unknown at this time but DNO was informed they are being administered IV Fluids.
Information reveals that they were rescued by a regional coast guard, which has been assisting in searching for them, however, this has not been confirmed.
DNO is following this development and will provide updates as they become available.
I am pleased to know that they were found. Their family must be relieved, at least they were found. I hope they will recover from whatever may be ailing them.
What an awesome God we serve.
Hallelujah. This is music to my ears.
We thank God for the recovery of the two fishermen who were missing at sea.
Also much appreciation to the coast guard and all who shared in the search.
A family experiences terrible anxiety and fear at such a time. Everybody is relieved and happy the ordeal is over.
Let us pray now for the complete healing of Vernon and Dever Benjamin as they recover from the trauma of this experience, and also for their family members.
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
Anytime one goes out on the open ocean with a one-engine boat, they are rolling dice.
I am not going out to fish miles offshore unless the boat has twin engines.
Sorry.
Zandoli thank you!
This is a word of wisdom for all who go out on the ocean.
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
I fish with 10 engines, a helicopter, a backup ship, A big sea turtle, 3 dolphins and use my stunt double, but when the water rough I just go and buy my fish in Portsmouth.
I don’t know these guys but I’m so happy to know that they’ll be alright!
Praise God! Speedy recovery to you guys
What is so wrong in publishing their names? Glad to know that they are back on their home soil. what of their boat?
