BUSINESS BYTE: Digicel launches promotion for Creole Music Festival

digicelThousands of dollars in cash and prizes are up for grabs as Digicel launches its “Madness” promotion today in support of the upcoming world creole festival.

The Festival is a major calendar event for artists to showcase their talent and, with the “Madness” promotion, Digicel is giving its customers a chance to be a part of the excitement for the next four weeks.

Prepaid customers can enter the competition by purchasing any BLU handset, topping up with EC$25 or more, signing up for any data plan or activating an unlimited plan.

Postpaid customers also have the opportunity to enter by purchasing a BLU handset with a data plan or by paying their bill in full and on time. Postpaid customers will receive two entries into the promotion per transaction, while prepaid will receive one entry per transaction.

In addition, two customers will be selected weekly to win prizes including a BLU Life Play smartphone and tickets to the World Creole Festival. Another lucky customer will qualify for a chance to win up to EC$5000 cash in the Digicel Cash Vault.

Digicel Dominica Sales and Marketing Manager, Nathalie Walsh, said, “We are always giving our valued customers an opportunity to be extraordinary. The BLU handset is one of the best smartphones on the market that boasts an eight megapixel rear camera and a two megapixel front camera with a sleek look at an attractive price.” The grand prize draw will be held on Thursday 21st October 2014. All customers are encouraged to participate in this promotion.
