de horse has already left de stable!!!
    better late than never!
Recently i saw that the newly proposed jet charter service from Florida has been postponed indefinitely.
Apparently our airport is lacking equipment and machinery to service de airline while on ground at de airport.
so now we having a conference to assess our state of de art airport with nigh landing facility to find out what we have and what we missing.

this is our reactionary government at work.

Unless we can have a proper Airport, I don’t think we should host that conference. We are just spitting in our faces by doing that. Many years with changes of Governments from DFP, UWP, DLP and no one has built a proper Aiport. Shame on our past and present Governments.

The UWP government did significant work on the development of a jet airport. The DLP cancelled all that and decided to stay with melville hall aka Douglas Charles and Canefield aka Dame Eugenia Frenchie Skerrit

South City this conference is being held at the right time if we had a full functioning airport that is the time we did not need this conference at least this way all personnel involved felt what it is like to land in Dominica and the need for improvement .
Do not look at the glass as half empty but as half full .
