IN PICTURES: Opening of Parliament

On Thursday, July 27, 2017, the First Meeting of the Third Session of the Ninth Parliament was opened to great fanfare.

Among the activities was the inspection of a Guard of Honor by the President of Dominica, His Excellency Charles Savarin.

    How we have a good budget for Dominica with all this pomp and show. I still laughing at the PM red briefcase . I hope he had red underwear also. They all dress to kill so I hope Dominica will stay alive.

      It was broadcast live by GIS but without sound. So odd. O sorry for the Music Lovers’ Band.

    No Wob Duet, no shirt and sash…am i watching an event in an independent Dominica or a copy of the old british way? LOOKS LIKE WE STILL UNDER WASTER’S WHIP!!
