In an effort to continually improve support mechanisms in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Erika, Jolly’s Pharmacy and Imaging & Ultrasound has made a donation of school necessities ranging from stationery to face basins to the San Sauveur Primary School.

The donation underpins Jolly’s Pharmacy’s and Imaging & Ultrasound commitment to education on Island by replenishing stationery in schools where such stock is exhausted.

In the South East of the Island, San Sauveur was one of the communities that bore the brunt of damages in the wake of storm Erika and was declared a special disaster area. Approximately six months after the storm there is a need for students in the community to be equipped with the required tools for learning.

The donation is in line with Jolly’s philanthropic and Imaging & Ultrasound commitment to support education. Jolly’s Pharmacy and Imaging & Ultrasound hopes that this venture will meet the basic educational needs of the students so they can broaden their knowledge and expand their horizons. In the words of a great leader Benjamin Franklyn, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”

Jolly’s Pharmacy, your partner in health care is located on 8 King George V ST. and 36 Great George ST, Roseau.

Must everything be about politics in Dominica? On behalf of the principal, staff, students and parents of the San Sauveur Primary School i would like to extend a big thank you to the Manager and staff of Jolly’s Pharmacy. We are indeed very blessed to have received this timely and much needed contribution for our school. Keep up the good work in contributing to the education of our students as well as other schools in Dominica. May God richly bless you.

Good for you Jolly. At least your donation is making sense unlike our emphatically wise prime minister who used our treasury money for a plane ticket and went all the way to India just to donate $60,000 to Buddha who we all know is dead and six feet deep. My word what a dummy.
