Only seeing those pics now, this is not unusual, as a child growing in Corsol, that’s what we experienced regularly with the sar sari river. reason being the culverts are blocked with debris when all the dry branches and twigs start coming down the river. I hope the engineers in the ministry of Comms. & Works check the status of that bridge regularly because over the years, there must have been a high level of wear and tear including weaknesses in that bridge. We have increased number of vehicles and of course heavier and frequent movement o vehicles on that bridge.
Don’t wait for something to happen.
i hope everyone is ok

it is so sad people be on the safe side

LORD PROTECT YOUR PEOPLE. people take it easy and have all eyes open
Is there a River Authority to manage the rivers so as to avert such disasters before they happen
with regrets?
your name does not suit your question
You mean an authority to make sure the rivers do not get too much water ?
You seem to like authorities .
You should give a call to Miss nature.
Her cell is 265 0911

PAPA MET!
Hey Case Gorerie people…be careful and the the people of greater La Plaine by extension. Thanks DNO for keeping us informed in events like these.
well needed rain, our bless island, people please remain safe.
what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it is not even hurricane season yet.Any plausible reason for not constructing a raised bride for this Sari-Sari crossing to reduce the risk of the road washing away and prevent traffic from passing on this major road?
That’s La Plaine for you! Pray everyone stays safe.
with all that rain, people electric bills should be lowered, according to the reason for rise in peoples electric bills.
Who in their right mind would thumbs down this comment?
SMH…Some Dominicans eh…
wat all that… the sari sari bridge looks like the sari sari falls..
seems like there was a pond buildin up above the village and the heavy rain fall triggers it.
hmmm its just amazing.. i still ca believe that these places would flood. stay safe my south east people
This is very common in our beautiful Island, it would never be normal otherwise.
Boy look water in my village…. God please keep my mama and the rest of my family safe…. people be careful; hope all goes well
Roads are damaged from raging water. We pray all will be well.
And that’s not the yard of the pentecostal church, that’s at the foot of the hill if u look closely u’ll see the public pipe standing ground…lol
Admin: Thanks for the observation. The correction has been made.
wow
Someone would not believe we in the dry season. Years gone by the dry season would be seriously dry from late February to the end of May but now there is an obvious change in the weather climate. Am happy for the rain but too much of it can be destructive.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful people!!
