My family and I extend our sincere condolences to you and family for your lost. Stay strong!
Great man and friend. Goodbye Gene. RIP
RIP Gene! Did the government eventually give the CBI cash to get him treated outside the country? If they didn’t, they should hang their head in shame!!
Please be quiet people like you are talking about the CBI program and how much it is a scam and it is a piggy bank for ministers to increase their bank account and now you are suggesting that the government should feel horrible if they did not use CBI money to care for the gentleman. Pick a side or get some commonsense?
These freaks of politics not nature unfortunately are void of shame .
Scamps they are scampy!

R.I.P Sir.
Its appointed to man once to die…..I say
Hold strong to ALL the family members!
Hello and good afternoon my people. I want to offer my condolence to Mr Pestaina family and thank them for his service to our citizens.
I must separate this statement from the above one. Now we know that Mr Pestaina left the DPP office because of a medical condition which I said was Prostate Cancer. We must wonder how can an educated man and someone who has the financial ability to seek medical care was unable to find out that he had Prostate Cancer but until it reach stage three Cancer. So to all my people a specially men at fifty years please have your PSA test and your prostate check. Rest in peace Mr Pestaina.
why dont you shut up?!!
Your comments,, maybe well intended, are out of place.
the man is dead let him rest in peace, have some empathy.
$ has replaced empathy on island since 2004 & b4( true or false?)
While it is appreciated that you Advocate for men over fifty years to have their PSA check. You need to know your facts before stating what Mr Pestaina had or had not?
Thanks, for your Condolences.
My pains has just been aggravated by a comment posted above about Gene. Mrs. Judith Pestaina, you have done everything in your power to sustain Gene’s life. You made him your number 1 priority. I have watched you at his bedside 24 hours. You been an exemplary wife. In sickness and in health you have been there. When all odds were against you, you never gave up. You have done your part. The Lord has now called Gene home, he is now free from his suffering. Gene could not have asked for more from you. You did it all, and he knew it. Be strong and may the lord grand you all the strength you need in this difficult moment. Grant you are an awesome son.
Thanks to every for the condolences to our family it is greatly appreciated.
Tony
How do you know how long the gentleman waited until a diagnosis? I am sure judging on your comment that you are not a medical doctor and are not related to the family. You and your kind love to indulge in gossip and always make it seem factual. You should have stopped at RIP, because the rest is just nonsense.
That was a low blow and water under the bridge amigo !
