Police say that they are investigating a report that a man from Salybia in the Kalinago Territory has allegedly gone missing.
The man is 81-year old Ettiene Charles , also know as “Charlo.”
Police PRO, Pellam Jno Baptiste, reports that Charles’ daughter, Marie-Ann Paris, said he left his home on the 4th of October, 2016 for the Kalinago Council Office and has not returned home since.
According to Jno Baptiste, Charles was last seen by a villager on the 6th of October, 2016 in the heights of St. Cyr. At the time, he was wearing blue boxer shorts and a red T-shirt and was carrying a pair of khaki pants.
Reports indicate that police and relatives have been searching for the missing man since but efforts have so far been unsuccessful.
The Dominica Police Force and the relatives of Charles are asking that anyone with any information that may assist them in their search to call the Criminal Investigations Department at telephone numbers 266 5164, 266 5165 and 266 5119. Persons may also contact Crime stoppers Dominica at telephone number 18008477.
I wonder what happened to him or where is he? Eighty-one years old. Did he lose his memory?
If he was holding a khaki pants in his hand, it appears he appeared to have a problem.
The person who saw him should have spoken to him and also called the police, if he/she was suspicious..
