The U.S. formally dropped Cuba from its state sponsors of terrorism list Friday, removing another barrier as the two countries try to re-establish diplomatic ties after 54 years of isolation.
The State Department announced last month it had completed a review of Cuba’s place on the list, determining the nation’s government had not assisted terrorist organizations in the preceding six months and had made assurances it would not do so in the future. Under federal law, the State Department was required to provide a 45-day review period, which ended Friday.
I was about time for God’s sake,fidel castro is the best president the world could ever have ,,after so many years of embargo no other country would survive as long as cuba..the population are in good health,they have the best doctors,they have the most literate people in the whole world,no starvation after what they been through by america,,,i honestly think that america is the biggest terrorist state in the world,,,what is good for the goose is good for the gander…long live fidel,as he stated in his speech ,my patrie or death …and till the end he never gave up for america..stand up for your right,never give up the fight,america and the west are dividing in order to rule the world yet they are still not happy and the only way they can enjoy themselves is by making war and killing the innocent people..
What kind of reality check is that to the United States. The communist regime in Cuba did not force the United States to remove Cuba from the terrorist list. Cuba had no power in demanding the United States normalize relationship with Cuba.
Obama made that promise in 2008, because he thought it would be in the interest of the people of the United States as far as trade is concern; remember there is more than a million people occupying Cuba, and selling products to Cuba could have been the motivation.
And to those who may thought Skerrit played any part in this, that is simply wishful thinking. Skerrit has no influence in world affairs, he could not even influence the president dog to bark, must less the crap he screamed in Cuba; “the United States must lift de embargo on Cuba.” Negotiation was going on long before Skerrit scream like a mouse caught in a trap!
Skerrit only have influence over his read dressing people he bribes with food in Dominica.

The over flow of tourist from Cuba will come to dominica. The leader in Skerritt made it happened. Cuba is of the least because of a great and smart dominican, and we all should be proud of our leader, blue or red, call your friends all over the world and tell them we are making progress. We can look forward to hear Skerrit say he was is responsible for making the United Stats taking Cuba of the list. Remember when he went to Cuba and crow like a red little rooster; “the United States must lift the embargo on Cuba.” Remember when he talk his crap about “demit” not knowing a President is not consider demitting office after serving his full term in office.
Well, now the embargo is partially lifted, more tourist has traveled to; and visited Cuba, in less than a month than all which visited Dominica in more than fifteen years, Skerrit is in office!
