Dominica and St Lucia both hold special food markets during their Creole Week festivals at the end of October. Stunning displays of local fruits, vegetables and spices are created for the event. Market vendors wear traditional costumes, stalls are festooned with brightly coloured madras fabrics and decorated with tropical flowers.

That is exactly what the Agru\icultural forum is talking about on Matt, the Hot Seat. To the Govt a little help to the farmers, produce will be more plentiful and more beautiful.Protect the the vendors and customers from the elements place a roof on the market and provide a ice machine so the meats , fish and vegetables can be remain fresh, Help you can do better.
nice pic, beats going the storre to buy fruits, vegetables, Dominica’s are so lucky they dont know it.
for true
Take note Timothy, these are the kinds of things that vistors are interested in. They coudln’t care less about how your president lives unless you can built something similar to the White House..
Looking very good and refreshing, but I am optimistic how Europe will be viewing Dominica without a proper facility where they can go in to a shelter. From rain & sun, the government should be investing into building a market for the farmers, so the buyers and tourist can feel pleasantly shopping for their items. And I also believe it can inspire the government to build a jet airport, so the formers produce can get to the destination without some spoiling.
keep it up people. the world is watching us, we are rated one of all the markets in the world to visit and as a Dominican that makes me proud
