Earthquake on north-east coast of Antigua

The UWI Seismic Research Center has confirmed that a tremor some residents in Antigua felt for a few seconds on Thursday night was a 4.0 magnitude earthquake.

It occurred on the north-east coast of the island around 10:11 pm.

The Trinidad and Tobago-based center said the quake occurred at a depth of 28 km.

No damage has been reported.

    Well we have to expect these things. We live on the edge of a tectonic plate that is constantly moving.
