Guyana and Suriname back Palestine at UN

UN General Assemby

Guyana’s President Bharrat Jagdeo, who arrived at the United Nations on Tuesday, is strongly lobbying for Caribbean and global support for a Palestinian state.

Throughout its history, Guyana has backed the liberation of the Palestinian nation from occupation, and has used every forum to speak on their behalf.

Jagdeo, on Wednesday at the UN, pushed hard for a Palestine State, according to a Surinamese diplomat at the UN. Jagdeo and his delegation are working to gather a solid CARICOM vote for Palestine in its bid for UN statehood.

If you believe in the bible, you should realise that god created everyone equal. And holds no favor to anyone, or else religion being adopted by any race but the jews would be of no consequence.
If you believe in evolution, you will know for certain that the promised land to israel is bogus.
For all the blacks that supporting israel in their modern form of genocide, need to know that was done to canaan(blacks) using the same claim. Innocent men, women and children and the land and gold taken under that same bogus claim….

The U.N. cannot bring peace in the Middle East. These people cannot live side by side with Israel.Presently Israel is surrounded by 22 Arab states, and almost all of believe that Israel have no right it exist.
This land which was called the promise land, was given to the nation of Israel by God.But God also warned them.If you turn your backs on me,I will kick you out from this land and will scatter you all over the face of the earth. But because of the promise I made with your forefathers,Abraham,Isaac and Jacob,I will not cast you out forever.I WILL BRING YOU BACK in the land.

So friends call them Zionist if you want. And don’t blame the U.S..Israel’s strength is not America….God promised to protect them inspite of their faults.
AND IF YOU TOUCH ISRAEL YOU ARE FIGHTING WITH GOD.

I have no problem with Palestine being recognise as a nation but they should give Israel and evry other people that same right!!
In any case why don’t the other arab nations allow the palestinians to occupy some of the lands they possess in abundance?

The filthy zionist that rule Israel and the American politicians who they control with a nose-ring and cord are the greatest evil ever visited on this planet.

Because they have skillfully managed to hijack the Bible and are selective in only the parts that fit their agenda. They currently have the world at their knees with the financial system of usury they have created (oh yes, go and investigate who are the originators and the names behind all major banks and financial institutions) and this is clearly forbidden even in the parts of the scriptures that they claim to follow.

Black people in particular love to dwell in the Bible but it always amazes me how ignorant they are of God’s words. Even more shameful are the clergy, priests, bishops, pope, etc, etc…. who uphold the evil that those zionist have been doing in Palestine and elsewhere by never challenging their behaviour particularly when it is clearly stated in the scriptures that such behavious is forbidden and ungodly.

It is not that hard to read your Bible properly and to find out that the Jews lost their exclusive right to the land because of their stiff-necked disobedience to God’s word and that is why they were scattered to the four corners of the earth and made, as God’s word states, the scourge of all nations and that he would only allow a small remnant of them to return to Israel because of his covenant with Abraham. It is also scattered in many parts of the Bible that they have to live with the people they find in that land. One example is the book of Ezekiel and in particular after all the boundaries had been mapped verses 21-23 give specific instructions to Israel to include strangers and their children (v 22) in the lands given to the twelve tribes.  These people, who would include the Palestinians today, are to be incorporated into lands of all twelve tribes, and are to be included as full citizens, including ownership of land (v 22-23).

For all those that can read and have understanding:
“You are to distribute this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners residing among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. In whatever tribe a foreigner resides, there you are to give them their inheritance,” declares the Sovereign LORD.” (Ezekiel 47:21-23)

Have the palestinians agreed to allow Israel to exist as a nation?
Historically the palestinians started this war, with their refusal to allow Israel to exist as a nation.
These palestinians or Arabs are the ones who first began selling sub-sahara African people into slavery to the West.
Jews have never enslaved anyone but they do have a right to exist and to protect themselves.

Well the Palestinians did recognized Israel right to exist in 1993, then the Israelis said they won’t deal with Arafat because he is a terrorist. Mr Arafat died but Israel still have not made peace rather they keep moving the goal post and building more settlements. We all know that America will used their veto in the Security Council but it will be approved in the General Assembly. In that way the Palestinians will be able to go to the International Criminal Court or the World Court in the Hague to seek re-dress and we will see if the rules applies to Israel or if they are above the rules. The Jews were involved in the slave trade as business men. Well just look at the Astaphans because they are Jews from a muslem country and look how they are controlling a large portion of Dominica economy and politics. Please open your eyes.

Have the palestinians decided to allow Israel to co-exist peacefully. By the way it was those same arabs palestinians muslins who first started selling black people from sub-sahara desert as slaves to the West . It was not the Jews. Jews have never harmed black people, but Arabs Palestinians did.
I am all for an Palestinian homeland as everybody should have a homeland, but they have to agree to allow the Jews to exist as a nation.

Let us follow the history of this land.
God Almighty took a man from Iraq named Abram (Abraham)and brought him to a country called the land of Canaan there were ten nations occupying this area .And God made a covenant with him and said.

“Unto your descendents I have given this land”

God even gave him the boundaries Genesis 15:18-21.These people living on that piece of land were not Arabs or Palestinians.

The first two sons of Abraham were Ishmael and Isaac,God chose Isaac over Ishmael and Said.
“….I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him Gen 17:19”

Isaac had two sons Esau the first born and Jacob (Israel)again God chose Jacob over Esau his twin brother. In the ancient Middle East, the firstborn would have the preeminence. But again God chose to bless the younger. And the Lord said to her:

“Two nations are in your womb (Rebeka’s womb, Isaac’s wife)Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other. And the older shall serve the younger.Gen.25:23”

In Gen.35 9 The Lord appeared to Jacob and verse 12 He said.
“The land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac I give to you and to your descendents after you I give this Land”
And these descendants are the 12 sons of Jacob they now called the Israelis.
God raised His hand in an oath to give the land to the them. Ezekiel 47:14.

Israel is no occupier. In closing let me say even though all the nations of the world come against Israel, they can never succeed.Read Jeremiah 31:35-36.Again The Almighty God said He will Bless those who Bless Israel and will Curse him who Curses Israel.Gen. 12:3. They are fighting a losing battle.

Don’t feel sorry for Dominica, feel sorry for yourself and blind ignorance by selectively quoting parts of scripture that suit your own notions.

It appears that when you are reading those things you just stop at the point you find something that pleases you.

You quote quote Ezekiel 47:14, why don’t you continue down to the end of the chapter or is it because you didn’t like what you saw or did a flash of lightning occur at that point so you could not see?

v21-23 “You are to distribute this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners residing among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. In whatever tribe a foreigner resides, there you are to give them their inheritance,” declares the Sovereign LORD.”

Hi, a Jew wrote the bible and they gave themselves the best parts. Have you ever saw an American military movie where America lost,(no). Mr Netanyahu wasn’t even born in Israel and he has more rights than a Palestinian that born there, simply because he is a Jew. This nonsense Israel government is doing must stop and I hope our PM will vote in favor of establishing a Palestinian country.

DOMINICA needs to make its position clear on this matter as well – Statehood for Palestinians YES!

The Israeli ambassador was in DA several weeks ago trying to preempt this, coming here saying that Israel would like to increase bi-lateral relations, blah blah blah. I knew it then what their true intentions was. We must say to them that the Palestinians need their identity now, and we will support them in that move unequivocally.

It is heartening to see that Caribbean leaders are finally standing up to the bully from the North. These countries were forced to expel Cuba from the Organization of American States (OAS). Today, we are in solidarity with the victims of occupation and Israeli ethnic cleansing.

I listened to PM Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday asking PM Abas to negotiate with him at the UN. He claimed that he wants “peace” but, 1)he will not give up East Jerusalem; 2) he will not allow the Palestinians they evicted to return to their legally acquired properties and, 3)he will continue building settlements on the West Bank and will not give up those already built. So, what’s there to negotiate? Let’s see if the UN has become obsolete or a force for justice and equality. Long live CARICOM!! Free Palestine!!

      September 24, 2011

Sout Man, you are spot on. Bibi Netanyahu has never been interested in pursuing genuine peace with the Palestinians. This man has been saying that for years. The man;s wife is said to be a hard-line orthodox woman who is against this; his right-hand man in his cabinet, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is an ultra-zionist – this man has no intentions at all to free the Palestinians. As you said, they continue to annex Palestinian lands, they have these people under their thumb. People have no idea how the Palestinians are controlled by the Israeli’s – everything in their lives are dictated. The Prime Minister of Turkey explained the extent of the control well when he said “If you want to send a box of tomatoes to Palestine, this is subject to approval from Israel, and I don’t think that is humanitarian,”

I agree with you that there is plenty of hipocracy in US foreign policy. Their total embrace of Israel and their arming of Israel shows that The US cannot be ann honest broker in the onflict.
The Palestinians have endured almost fifty years of occupation their appeal to the uN is their last ditch effort to claim their diginity stollen from them by the occupation which began after the 1967 war.
After the fall of Apatheid, the quest by the Palestinians for their statehood remains one of the unfulfilled acts of justice in all of recent human history.
