A high-tech hydroponic ganja farm was yesterday discovered inside a rented house belonging to the Jamaica Baptist Union (JBU) on Old Stony Hill Road in St Andrew. Three men were arrested during the raid.
Police swooped down on the seven-bedroom house at about 11:00 am yesterday after receiving tips that illegal activities were being carried out there. However, what they found has left them stunned.
“This is the first time we are seeing this in the island. So, far it is a method normally seen in overseas area such as California and other jurisdictions,” Inspector David White of the St Andrew North Police told the Jamaica Observer.

Some people will find ways of defying the Law. This is a big problem, no exception in Canada. The house could have blown up. With that kind of electricity voltage, I bet sooner or later this could have happened.
Take my advice. Next time smoke a real Havana. It is much cheaper, you’ll probably enjoy it more and definitely will impress people more than a skinny, home-rolled, spindly weed stick.

The owner of the property knew who they renting too and what should be expected. Smoke don’t go without a fire.
The Bible sez, “The herb on this land is for the use of man” Crimes and sins are 2 different things. They committed absolutely no sin.
Man has not yet discovered the proper use for every plant or herb of the earth.
There are good uses for he hemp plant but there are obviously ways it should not be used.
Because God put an herb on the earth does not mean it is to be chewed, eaten, drank, sniffed, smoked,
or rubbed on.
What about poison ivy or poison hemlock
Tobacco is killing thousands of people every year. So stop being so foolish as to argue that we should smoke the vile weed because God put it on earth. Science tells us that 50% of all regular tobacco smokers will die from a disease caused by smoking tobacco. Second hand smoke (from others) is even worse. Some as I write who never smoked in their lives are dying from second hand smoke because they lived or worked in a place filled with second hand smoke.

Just reform the darn laws and allow marijuana for medicinal, secondary and tertiary production purposes, end of story.
If marijuana would be used for these purposes maybe that gesture would be a good one, but some people would take advantage, as they already are, and use their high as excuses to commit crimes.
