West Indies leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo helped put the West Indies in a good position on the first day of the third Test match against Pakistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
The 30-year-old took four wickets for 74 runs as the West Indies restricted the home side to 255-8 on a good batting pitch. He was excellent in the second half of the day with a spell of 17-2-65-4.
Bishoo was well supported by fast bowler Shannon Gabriel who again bowled with pace and accuracy to end the day with 3-58 — which included two wickets in the first over.
Play continues on Monday at 10 am (2am Eastern Caribbean Time/1am Jamaica Time).
Bishoo spoke to members of the media at the end of the first day. The audio can be heard below.
