Dubique Strikers defeats K.T. United in rounders championship

Dubique Strikers

Dubique Strikers continue its dominance of National Rounders and are the 2012/2013 Courts/LIME National Rounders Champions.

The team defeated K.T United in a keenly contested match at the  Tzac Grounds in Mahaut on the weekend.

K.T United won the toss and batted first scoring 337 for 5 in 40 overs.  Marilyn Auguiste top scored with 74, Rosemund Burton 58 and Sylvanie Burton 35.

Dubique Strikers replied with 340 for 5 in 35 overs. Tonia Pierre led all scoring with 130, Julia Bruno 69 and Stella Alexander 34.

Dubique Strikers are also the opening Ball-o-Rama and League Champions.

The final trophy to be won is at closing Ball-o-Rama champion scheduled for February 17 at Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth.

The event will close the rounders season and will include a prize giving ceremony.
