Plans are underway for the hosting of the 2013-2014 National Rounders League in Dominica.
This weekend umpires and captains are expected to meet at the Goodwill Primary School to review rules to govern the league.
The league begins at the Geneva Playing Field in Grand Bay on June 30.
Coordinator of the league, Abraham Brown, said the committee organizing the event is anticipating an increase in the number of teams this year “looks forward to harmonizing the rules with the organizers of rounders in Guadeloupe and Antigua, in particular, to facilitate inter island matches by a National Team.”
Last season, 34 teams with over 500 registered members participated in the league sponsored by Courts and LIME.
Dubique Strikers is the 2012 League Champions.
Sould it not be “on the way”? and not “underway”? Just asking!
