The closing and prize-giving of South East Sports Committee and the Sports Division’s Inaugural National Rounders League will take place at the Dublanc play field on Sunday, January 16 from 10:30 a.m.
The programme will include a Round-o-Rama among the 28 teams which participated in the league and the formal prize-giving at the conclusion of the games. The 28 teams played in four zones as follows:
1. North West : Capuchin Reformers, Canefield Vikings, St Joe , Silver Stars, Dublanc Almond Stars, Colgate Pioneers
2. South Central: Courts, P.M.H. Police Sports Club, Matadors, Scrunters Reformers, Tremors, ACS Sout’ Defenders, Reformers
3. South East: Lime United Strikers, Marinor LA Stars, MJ Gold Stars, GF Young Strikers, GF LynFlic Original, Domsetco Stars
4. East: Kalinago Strikers, Survivors, C.T. United, Fantastic Stars, Good Hope Stars, Veteran Bombers, Flamboyant Pacers, Sunshine Rockets
Trophies will be awarded in the following categories:
Round o rama Champions (OPENING)
Round o rama Champions (CLOSING)
Runner Up team in each zone (4)
Champion of each zone (4)
5. M V P of each zone (4)
6. MVP Overall
7. MOST DISCIPLINED TEAM
8. RUNNER UP
9. CHAMPION
Representatives of the Sports Division, the South East Sports Committee, the Dublanc Village Council, the Parliamentary Representative, the players and the general public are expected to be at the closing.
