Two fisher men from Good Hope who were missing at sea for the past three days, have been found alive.

Information is sketchy at this time but according to reports, Gabriel Laurent and Xavier Antoine, who were found at about 7.00 pm Saturday by a French yacht, are now at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

Police PRO, ASP Claude Weekes reported on Friday that the men left San Sauveur about 7 pm on Thursday 2nd July 2015 to go fishing and up until that time, had not yet returned.

He said then, that the Coast Guard had been in action and would “work with other partners in seeking to find the missing fishermen.”

DNO will follow this story and bring you more information as it becomes available.

Many good people prayed. God in heaven heard.

We are thankful for the safety of these men, and the relief it brought their families.

    Thank you Lord!

Our gratitude also goes out to the ones who were instrumental in their rescue.

    Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

God bless, thank you Lord. I do not know them but I could feel the pain when family and friends spoke about the situation last week. We take fishing foregranted, we never think about the dangers out there. The sea provides us with food but its really treacherous. Our fishermen must always leave Port with all survival gadgets.

These comments are unnecessary. Do you have to mention all this with your accusations and judgment which obviously project disdain and hatred? Then you thank God! Is He pleased with you?
Some of you underestimate God, take Him for granted and do not take Him who is our God and Judge seriously.
It is also blasphemy, using His Holy Name in vain and in this manner; also ignorance of God and what He has taught through the Gospel and expects of you. Nothing is hidden from our God nor escapes Him who knows, sees and hears all things. Some people do not realize God will punish them for that.
You must be informed by those who are knowledgeable about it. Hope you take note and leave God out of your words of hatred and foolishness. He is not amused. There is too much of this in some comments on this Website.

It is such an important industry.

All you who go out on the water for whatever reasons please take precautions. You see how people care.
