The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela played its part in the Global Movement of Solidarity with Venezuela, when it held a talk on the subject “Venezuela After the 2013 Presidential Elections”, at the Venezuelan Institute for Culture and Cooperation on June 13, 2013
At the event, Ambassador Hayden Pirela spoke on the experience faced by Venezuelans during and after the Presidential Elections, making use of videos to clarify doubts and shed light on the present situation. Special reference was made to the eleven Venezuelans who lost their lives during the election period.
After Ambassador Pirela’s presentation, Ambassador Philbert Aaron, Dominica’s Ambassador to Venezuela, gave a few words, pledging Dominica’s continued support to the Bolivarian Revolution and to work towards the strengthening of the close ties that Dominica shares with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
A few minutes was set aside for a period of questions and reflections from the public. The event concluded with a presentation from the Cuatro Group.
Also present at the event was Cuba’s Ambassador to Dominica Mrs. Elena Ramos, Mrs. Sonia Williams, Coordinator of the Dominica Labour Party Women’s Organization, among others.
Hopefully a New Government will manifest in Venezuela soon. One that really has the interest of the poor at heart. Not using the cause of the poor for Political Mileage.
Stop giving away their money to gain popularity internationally.
New Venez gov or former one : same thing !
It’s a leftist dictatorship !
And it’s time for DA to withdraw from this Alba communist organization and join free world democracies.
I hoped they talked about the widespread scarcity of common goods especially food (basic stuff like flour and sugar) and the high level of corruption that is tearing the country apart.
Mr. Admin is Philbert Aaron Dominica’s Embassador to Venezuela or ALBA or both?Just wondering .

Anybody expect the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Here not to be in solidarity with Venezuela? What do we think Embassies are for ?They are non different than the Country.Stop making it seem as if they had a choice in the matter.
Dominica is in solidarity with Venezuela.Get it straight.Get it correct.Pas qyon neh nous!Doh come so!
It probably was not presented to a wider Dominican audience because they did not want dissenters present as an embarrassment to the Dominican government. It would also give them the opportunity to present the story/propaganda in the way which they want it presented and to a passive audience of a select few who would absorb the propaganda NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! That is my take on this………
there is widspread stavtion in venezuela
there is widspread stavtion in venezuelan
I SEE Hector John there too.. Very good
Christopher Columbus was an ‘AMBASSADOR’ to Dominica from 1493. That’s how long we’ve been ripped-off.
Should this not have been presented to a wider Dominican audience?
Nobody seems interestedin the matter.
