The Dominica Meteorological Service is advising Dominicans to monitor a tropical wave which is located in the Central Tropical Atlantic.
The wave has a high chance of development.
The system is expected to approach the area by Monday.
Meanwhile, Tropical Depression 14 formed in the far eastern Atlantic last night and is now approximately 2,300 miles east of the Lesser Antilles.
In the meantime, an increase in cloudiness, scattered showers, and possible isolated thunderstorms can be expected later today as a result of an approaching tropical wave.
Persons in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to be vigilant and to exercise caution.
