Call for Applications– National Project Assistant in Dominica

The Implementing Sustainable Low and Non-Chemical Development in Small Island Developing States (ISLANDS) programme seeks to address the sound management of chemicals and waste in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The Basel Convention Regional Centre for Training and Technology Transfer for the Caribbean (BCRC-Caribbean) is currently executing the Caribbean Child Project (GEF 10472) which involves three (3) countries (The Bahamas, Cuba and Dominica).

 

The BCRC-Caribbean is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual as a National Project Assistant for Dominica, to support the Centre with the implementation of the GEF ISLANDS 10472 Project.

 

Open to: Individual applicants based in Dominica with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years’ experience in chemicals and waste management.

Expected start date: August 2023

Language: Applications must be submitted in English.
