A UK grandmother has become the first person in the world to be given the Pfizer Covid-19 jab as part of a mass vaccination programme.
Margaret Keenan, who turns 91 next week, said the injection she received at 06:31 GMT was the “best early birthday present”.
It was the first of 800,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine that will be dispensed in the coming weeks.
Up to four million more are expected by the end of the month.
Hubs in the UK are starting the rollout by vaccinating the over-80s and some health and care staff.
One thing everyone should note, is that the developers and distributors of the vaccine have been given protected status , meaning they are free from prosecution for any complications that may arise from the use of said vaccine. How do you garner trust by shielding yourself in such a manner? All the risks are left to the recipients of the vaccine. The manufacturers can be as negligent as they wish since they are free from prosecution.

In my opinion. I believe this vaccine should be question and why there is a push to have the caribbean islands have it for free. It’s should this vaccine is 90 percent effective and a possibility for does who take it to be also positive and have not confirmed that does who talk may have a possibility of infecting does who does not take it. Other docters have confirmed that the vaccine has serious future bodily and mental negative effects especially for pregnant women.
