Diane, shut up; congratulation to government for what way they handle COVID-19?

As most  of them who must sing praising to Roosevelt in order  to keep their job,
that is precisely what you are doing!

Less than a handful of people showed symptoms of COVID-19 in Dominica, no one had to be put on a ventilator, that is an indication that these people may have a mild case of the virus.

One would congratulate the government if they devised a plan to prevent the spread of the virus by the few whom one presume may have had the virus.

All you people did in Dominica, is simple follow the international protocol established by the WHO, and CDC of the United States.

If you truly needed the photo-op, you should use it to congratulate the people of the country for perhaps observing social distancing: if you only found fifteen cases, I don’t know why you give government credit for some crap.

Does government have medicinal cure for COVID-19?

So, let me finish with you so called doctor; I know your motive for praising Roosevelt, it is not because you fear loosing your job.
He will not kick you in your behind out to the streets as he has done to others, because you all have an in-law relationship, via marriage.

      Hahahahahahahahahaha!

And if you believe I don’t know who you are, I will ask you who was Davis Robinson, out of Marigot?

Proof enough? And in conclusion, the was a scoundrel who claimed he could work magic; a very crooked man, such as Chichi the magic man.Like father like son, that is why a certain man is so corrupted and crooked “like father like son oui!

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Maybe the son know how to work magic too and so he mesmerizes the mind of dem Dominicans and make dem vote for he eh!

    @Elizabeth
Stop your scathing personal attacks, I’m not a public figure. I speak truth to power. Ease off that RED Kool Aid as it seriously affects your cerebrum.. Government can incentivize small local businesses by giving them easy access to very low interest loans. Subsidize the bona fide farmers. Create a proper network of roads throughout the island that allow for the easy transportation of goods and people. Make taxes less burdensome on business and the working class. People will have more spending power, businesses will have more scope to expand creating more employment. That’s enough for now as I can go on ad infinitum.

Congratulate the government for managing the Covid-19 pandemic? How so? Dominica would not have had one single case if it was not for the PM keeping the airport open for so long in order to facilitate the return of one of his friends returning from the UK. Isn’t it the truth that that particular man carried the virus and brought it to our country and subsequently infected other people? Come on, let’s hear! We want the truth!

@Ibo France, I have said it before, and I am going to say it again, that if everyone in Dominica was a government employee, where would the revenue come from to raise the country’s economy.

Is this happening through their employment of doctors, nurses, teachers, policemen, fireworks, the janitors of the city, this and that social group–who are never satisfied with their salary?

Dominica is behind economically because the private sector will not invest their finances, but those are the people who can create jobs in Dominica to build the economy.

Apart from when I mentioned above, the infrastructure of the country is the responsibility of the Government, which demands highly qualified employees–do you want them to own all the farms on the island as well?

Tell us what business do you own in Dominica; tell us how you advised others to follow your steps. Otherwise, shut up! You are not helping anything.

The institutions in Dominica are a total waste of time! lacking professionalism, honesty and trust. They are afraid to call a spade a spade; the DMA were set aside by the same government they are praising. It took them writing three consecutive letters to the Prime Minister without response, literally having to go to the media to get attention and to get recognition! they were rudely discarded and made to pass as being irrelevant in the early stages. Yet still they come out praising the gov’t! for what? I honestly think we are very lucky to say the least given the lassiz faire attitude and incompetence of this government. Had the DMA and others suggestion to shutting down of our boarders, it was very likely that we would not have had one case, making us a shining light in the World. DMA however pretends to have memoir powl! Suffice it to say all praises should go to GOD for his mercies and then to the front line workers for the job well done.

President of DMA and Deputy CMO :?:
    Sound like conflict of interests.

In Dominica everything is a conflict of interest, in particular when it concerns government.

The DMA and the DAIC have come out showering praise on a government that has thousands of citizens and residents hungry and penniless. This is not coincidental. To this day, there isn’t a viable plan to create employment opportunities for the vast majority of potential workers who are desperately seeking employment. What do you expect from a leader who is intellectually small, obesely ignorant, stubbornly corrupt and shamelessly egotistical? The country is in huge economic trouble for the foreseeable future. We need divine intervention.

” I have said it before, and I am going to say it again, that if everyone in Dominica was a government employee, where would the revenue come from to raise the country’s economy.”

lbo, that lady should asks Roosevelt Skerrit that very question, because Roosevelt is the one who gives people the impression that he is a god, and their lively hood rest on his back and shoulders.

Remind Elizabeth that Roosevelt is the one who said: “when people asks God for something, and he takes long to give it to them, when they come to “him” and beg; he gives it to them right away.”

The only wise thing she said is everybody cannot be employed by the government.

Unfortunately Roosevelt seems to be the only employer in the country.

How can the economy of the country grow when Roosevelt caused the bankruptcy of every small business on the island, he causes Ross University, Colgate Palmolive all industry to leave the country.
Roosevelt is Dominica’s curse, he’s an obstacle!
