
Veteran American actress Diane Keaton passed away in California on Saturday, October 11.
An article in PEOPLE stated, “There are no further details available at this time, and her family has asked for privacy in this moment of great sadness.”
According to TMZ, she was taken from her residence to a hospital around 8 AM.
Keaton gained widespread recognition in the 1970s through her roles in The Godfather series and her work with director Woody Allen. She received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in “Annie Hall” in 1977.
Over the years, her extensive career included appearances in films such as The First Wives Club, numerous projects with director Nancy Meyers, and the Book Club series.
