BBC News reports: Police in Washington DC are facing pressure to charge a homeowner who fatally shot a 13-year-old boy.
Karon Blake, who is black, was gunned down in the early hours of last Saturday, investigators said.
According to police, the homeowner, who is also black, said he heard noises outside his home and saw the teenager “tampering with vehicles”.
Officials said the man went outside with his registered gun and shot the boy following an “interaction”.
“Karon Blake, who is black”
Whoa, wow, wait, hold up, he’s BLACK? Wow! Who would’ve thought? I thought he looked Chinese! Or maybe even Korean. But black?!? Wow, what a surprise!

Early morning hours of a Saturday, you should have been in bed young boy. See what has happened… Condolences to the family 👪….
The people who are protesting should examine the boy’s upbringing. When you have 13 year old boys tampering with people’s property, it indicates to me something had already gone off the rails long before that incident.
As much as I don’t want to see kids getting killed needlessly, people who are not prepared or unable to care and nurture their kids should not be having children.
That is why I am a strong advocate of reproductive rights.
Denise, first of all get a world atlas to familiarise yourself with the location of the major international airports in the world. To fly to Miami and transfer there to Dominica you are still subject to US immigration control. Some privileged countries in Europe have a visa waiver programme but not all. You will not find Poland, Bulgaria or Ukraine or Russia on that list for example and in the Far East only Japan is shown .Even so, citizens of a visa waiver country still have to obtain clearance prior to arrival in Miami, which you can do by email. All others need a full US visa Denise, if they cannot go through the diplomatic channel like you. It is just too cumbersome to use a US airport for international passengers who are transiting to another country. Just not practical Denise.
