The Community of Delices has plunged into a state of mourning as a member of that community is the ill-fated victim of Dominica’s first road fatality for 2023.
Dominica News Online (DNO) can confirm that Lyndel “Smiley” Hilaire, passed following motor vehicle accident in the community of Delices.
Information from police sources is that Hilaire who was the driver of motor vehicle PG929 lost control of the jeep and went off the road sometime in the morning of January 14, 2023, in area known as Fond Toma in Delices.
Following the incident, he was removed from the vehicle and transported to the Laplaine Health Center where he was examined and pronounced dead.
Via their Facebook account, a member of the Delices village council wrote, “Oh Lord have mercy. The entire Community is in tears this morning on site of this tragic accident. Lord Delices needs you this is hard. Condolences to his parents Clarissa and Glenroy, his siblings, extended family and our community. Rest In Peace Lyndel “smiley” Hilaire.”
Why do you people attribute everything negative to religious correlations? Yes the government may be lacking, thus an increase in crime, the relentless evil this, God that is unbearing.

When the evil one called his election on the night of November 6 the people of the entire east coast including Delices were cut off from Dominica earlier that same day. Yet the evil one was so bound by his evil commitment that not even that state of emergency would stop him from announcing election. I don’t know if is a blood commitment he had with Satan his boss but we can see the trend. So I not surprised the first road fatality for 2023 is from that same East coast. No matter the cause of death we in Dominica should know by now that the curse of the evil one is hurting the country
Oh my, sad moment for his family, my heartfelt sympathy for his family and the entire community of Delices. May he rest in peace.
Alas… that pain of losing a loved one so suddenly is one I would not wish on my worst enemy. My condolences to his loved ones and may he rest in peace.
It’s unfortunate that these guys are dying in areas where there is not much traffic. I wish our people were not in such a hurry and they just took their time and paid more attention to driving.
The country is very small and no matter how fast they drive they will shave a few minutes at best on the trips.

Boy as bad as the economy is and as tuff as things are in the commonwealth the amount of blood we are seeing is the cry of the people as our people continue to die a very sad death as if we are under a plague.
But what do you expect when the church blesses the evil of Skerrit and refer to him as a man of integrity?
What do you expect when the nine ministers who were fired by Skerrit know the man is wicked but they tell us he is good?
What do you expect when those 20 candidates that form his new cabinet knew the man is as wicked as hell but just for their greed, evil desires and love of money they decided to join him?
It is sad to say it but my people we are under a serious curse and we better cover ourselves with the blood of Jesus every day because the plague on our island is real

Is the blood of Jesus really working? I have been hearing this ever since I know myself and I have seen things get from bad to worse. How can the blood of a man who never existed save us? We need to stop believing in myths. Religion has become the opium of the people and nothing gets better.

Oh why, why are so many of our young people dying like this. The country is sick, sick, sick. There is a curse hovering over the land. People let us kick them out souplay.
If willful stupidity is a curse, then you are right. Dominicans chose to harbor guns, chose to drink and drive, chose to throw caution to the wind, chose to believe that reality is a hoax and chose to disobey even the most sensible laws.
RIP young man and my deepest sympathy to the family. The last few years Dominica has become very scary but since the demonic 666 election of Skerrit on December 6, this place has become very very scary with the kind of deaths taking place.
We ended the year with 2 brutal murders of women murdered by their man. 2023 opened with a drowning, a suicide, a baby died in day care, a young man died cutting a tree, another murder in Mourn Bruce, a near murder or attempted murder in Maro and now this road fatality.
Yes the likes of man bite dog, LinClown, Elizabeth and others will say these things happening all over. But my friends this is Dominica, a small country, a quiet country where we are not use to so much blood shed. Man since Skerriit became PM and chise the mark of the beast date for his election no doubt demonic activities have increased sharply and the people are mourning much more than rejoicing But pro 29:2 warns …but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
