wow! I am in no position to judge the deceased. What we know, is that someone has lost thier life. A four month old baby will never get to know his/ her Dad. This was an assassination.
To fatally shot someone in their home, while sitting in thier living room. I can only say, this is the reality of our society. whether the shooting happens in Grand Bay or Roseau. it affects all of us, we are all Dominicans. Only action we have is lip service from the authorities.
As a kid I remembered very well, when Eugenia Charles administration took the fight to the criminals who thought they run things. Today, you have a Government who talk tough about crime, but there is no bite, no action.
Things go viral on social media. However, things have gone fatal 2025 in Dominica. There is a up-tick in gun crimes. No effort should be spared to curb these frequent shootings.
Idle minds make fertile grounds for wrongdoings. Nothing stops a bullet like a good paying job. The young and middle-aged men and women in Grand Bay and all around Dominica need to be gainfully employed. Satan always finds work for idle hands to do.

@ Bwa-Banday, there has always been violent incidents in Grandbay, that is why in my young days when it came to liming and partying Grandbay was a place I avoided, I have never been to a fet Isidore. So it is stupid to blame the political choice of the people of Grandbay as a reason for the crime and violence.
