Catholic priest, Fr. Charles Martin, who passed away recently, will be laid to rest on December 18 in Soufriere.
This will follow a Funeral Mass at the Cathedral Chapel in Roseau beginning at 10:30 am.
Final viewing will precede the Mass from 9:30 AM.
Following the Mass, he will be interred at the St Mark’s Catholic Cemetery in Soufriere.
A wake service for Fr. Martin will take place Tuesday, December 17, at the St. Alphonsus Church at 6:00 PM.
Fr. Martin passed away on December 2 at the presbytery of the St Alphonsus Church in Goodwill, where he was Parish Priest from 2017.
He was ordained as a priest on August 18, 1985. He has been a Roman Catholic Priest for 39 years.
He was the Dean of the Cathedral in Roseau from 2008 to 2017.
He was well-known throughout Dominica as a man of great faith and commitment to the church and the priesthood.
