The funeral of the late Ferdina Frampton will be held on Monday, February 19th , 2024 at 2 p.m. at our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church in Pointe Michel. Viewing will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and interment, at the Pointe Michel Roman Catholic Cemetery.
The Vigil will be held on Sunday, February 18th, 2024 at 5 p.m. on Old Street, Roseau, outside the offices of telecommunications company, Flow.
Ferdina Frampton passed away on January 17th, 2024. She was 49. Frampton was the Senior Marketing & Communications Lead at Cable & Wireless Communications (Flow) Dominica, where she was employed since 2005, stamping her mark on the company’s media and marketing outreach.
She had previously worked as an announcer and news reporter at the national radio station, DBS. In 2013, Frampton launched the In the Spotlight Radio Show, which aired on Q95 FM Radio until 2023, to celebrate the lives and achievements of Dominican heroes and icons.
She was involved in a number of charitable organizations, including the President’s Charities Foundation and the Dominica Red Cross; and indulged her love for pageantry and the arts through her long association with the National Queen Show Committee and the Dominica Calypso Association.
Her vigil will feature tributes from her family members, close friends, and associates as well as performances from local artistes.
The vigil and funeral mass for the late Ferdina Frampton will be broadcast live via various radio stations and online news platforms.
