Miguel Dollan Langlais, 22, of Morne Rachette has been remanded into custody at the Dominica State Prison after being charged with the murder of 36-year-old Kemrone Ray Fritz of Morne Rachette.
The murder accused appeared before Magistrate Michael Laudat at a Roseau Magistrate on December 24, 2024, where the charge was read to him.
Langlais was not required to plea since murder is an indictable offense. The matter is expected to be tried at the High Court before a Judge and jury.
Previously, police reported that Fritz’s lifeless body was discovered just past midnight on December 22, 2024, lying in a pool of blood in his bed with multiple stab wounds.
The matter has been adjourned to February 25, 2025, at the St Joseph Magistrate’s Court.

There was the now deceased taking a well earned peaceful nap in the sanctuary of his home when he was brutally and fatally accosted. Life is so unpredictable living in a place where crime is mushrooming.
