If only many of dignitaries sitting up front at the service had patronised Alwin’s work during his lifetime.
I remember on the opening night of one of Alwin’s Literary Festivals, the audience were kept waiting for 45 minutes while the then Minister of Culture attended the launch of a book by the then Bishop. Had the Bishop the slightest degree of literary appreciation he would had scheduled his book launch for another evening. But regardless, the Minister of Culture should have reassessed her priorities.
