Man’s body found off EO Leblanc Highway; police investigate

The Traffic Department and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) have commenced investigation into the discovery of the lifeless body of 44-year-old Andy Jervier of Kingshill.

Jervier was found on the side of the EO Leblanc Highway in Canefield close to a well-known business place on Wednesday, February 5.

According to a police report, the body was officially processed and declared deceased by a doctor that very morning and kept at a morgue pending an autopsy.

Thus far, the initial investigation into the matter does not point to a traffic accident or a homicidal death.

However, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
