
The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission has announced the passing of Rojer Inglis, the Organisation’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Inglis died on Sunday, March 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of “collegial spirit and his generosity of knowledge”.
Mr. Inglis’s career in the media and regional institutions spanned several decades, beginning with his role at the Grenada Broadcasting Network, reports the United Pacs St Lucia publication. The article said that he joined the organisation as Finance Manager before quickly ascending to the position of General Manager in the early 2000s.
Transitioning into regional leadership, Mr. Inglis brought his extensive expertise in finance to various roles, making significant contributions to the development and stability of institutions across the Caribbean.
His professional journey culminated in his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at the OECS Commission in Castries in 2023. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the Organisation’s financial operations.
Respected for his ” technical expertise, ” The OECS Commission’s official statement highlights Mr. Inglis’s tenure: “Since joining the OECS in 2023, Mr. Inglis’s stewardship of the Organisation’s financial affairs was characterized by professionalism and an unwavering commitment to excellence.”
It continued: “We extend heartfelt condolences to Mr. Inglis’s family, friends, and loved ones during this time of grief. His legacy of service and leadership will remain an enduring part of the Organisation’s history.
