Parliamentary Representative for the Marigot Constituency, Anthony Charles, has extended condolences to the family of the late distinguished businessman Gerald ‘Gerry’ Aird, who passed away on July 18, 2025, following a period of illness.
His condolences came during his response to the presentation of an over 1.2 billion-dollar National Budget for the Fiscal Year 2025/2026 on Monday.
“I would like to send some condolences to the Aird family, especially his sons Jason and Damian,” Charles said.
Charles said both he and his parents had a close relationship with Mr. Aird, “We personally got close, especially when I won the election,” Charles stated.
He continued, “ He was very passionate about good education…”
