
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, commenting on the death of Timothy Symes, described the late business owner, as a well-respected businessman who has contributed to business in the City of Roseau.
Most commonly known as “Symes Zee”, Symes died earlier this week and was the owner of Syme’s Villa with locations in Roseau and Laudat.
“Mr. Symes was an icon of Roseau,” Mr. Skerrit said “You cannot speak about Roseau and not speak about Symes Zee.”
The Prime Minister continued, “He was truly a well-respected businessman who invested in Dominica.”
Stating that he believes the death of Symes Zee is a loss to the business community and Dominica as a whole, he extended his sincere condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the deceased.
“May his soul Rest In Peace,” Skerrrit stated.
