
Investigations are ongoing into the shooting death of Denzell Powell of Portsmouth, who resided in Wesley.
According to reports, the 29-year-old’s lifeless body was discovered with gunshot wounds at about 11:30 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

The police needs to aggressively crack down on antisocial behavior that leads to these type of crimes. Severe punishment for shooters.

Homicides in Dominica continue unabated. There are too many illegal firearms in the hands of criminals. National insecurity reigns supreme. Too many of our young men have been cut down in the prime of their life.
The incumbent administration is in government for too long. They are most definitely bankrupt of ideas or just does not have the will to arrest this continual violent problem. We need a fresh government, with fresh ideas and fresh measures and strategies to restore love, peace and tranquility to this once non-violent kingdom.
