The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is mourning the death of Acting Police Inspector Terry Royer who died suddenly last night.

According to reports, Royer who was stationed at the Portsmouth Police Station collapsed at work and was immediately taken to the Reginald Fitzroy Armor (RFA) Hospital in Portsmouth where he was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.

One police officer who chose to remain anonymous told Dominica News Online (DNO) that apart from being very kind, Terry was an easy-going man who took his work seriously.

“The news came as a shock to us,” the officer said. “He will be certainly missed by all of us in the Dominica Police Force.”

DNO extends condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Terry Royer.

Rest in peace Terry and my condolences to the Royer family of Thibaud. Terry was a good man and maybe too good of a human being to serve under such a corrupt regime. Like many of us in the force, I know it must have been a nightmare for Terry and other good officers in the force to know the dangers their boss posed to Dominica but they could not confront him or arrest him. Terry it’s hard to see you go but my brother and friend knowing what I know that might be the best thing for you. RIP

May I extend condolences to the family and friends of the Late Terry Royer who left us unexpectedly and suddenly. May he rest in peace.

To the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF), you have lost a good man, a man of moral principles and good ethics. It will be hard to replace such a good man. May I extend condolences to the rank and file of the CDPF on such a great loss in the person of Terry Royer. Again RIP

It is sad news, but it is a journey we all have to expirence,,,,With one exception,,,,
We can visit a Dr. and He may cure that particular health problem. But in any case something else will knock us down.
Even if we hate death, we can’t run away from it.It is inevitable.
There is something we can do,and that is,
Prepare for death. Friends, you can talk to the Lord Jesus, He can,and He will hear you.
Say, Lord I cannot saved my soul.
You are the one who died because of all my sins.I am now surrendering my all to You now.I want to be sure of heaven even before I die.
If you are serious, upon the authority of God’s word….You can sing, as you are on your way to Heaven.
And you must find a Bible believing church, and you will learn more of your Savior and Lord
Amen and again I say Amen.
